Shared Hosting

Shared hosting means your website is hosted on a server shared by other websites. The main advantage is it has low price.

Reseller Web Hosting

Reseller Hosting comes with a WHM control panel. Here you can sell hosting to others. Here you can create your own name servers.

Cloud Based Web Hosting

Cloud hosting means a kind of technology in which hundreds of individual servers work together to form a giant server. It is twice as fast as normal hosting. If your website gets huge traffic suddenly this cloud servers can manage the traffic without any server down.

In cloud hosting you have to pay for how much you used. It is based on usage duration, bandwidth etc.

Virtual Private Server (VPS)

Virtual private server has one physical server but it will act like multiple, separate servers. A VPS is just a gap between shared server and getting your own dedicated machine. It is just like you have got your own private server.

Dedicated Web Server

Dedicated server means you have got one physical server from a hosting company on rent basis. You can have full control (called “root” permissions in Linux) if you want it. They maintain the server physically and give the full control to you.

Colocation Web Hosting

Co-allocation means you have to buy and bring your own server hardware. The hosting company will provide internet connection, power supply, cooling and security. Now you have to install internal software. You are responsible for your hardware. If any problem occurs company is not responsible.

Self Service Web Hosting

You have to do all the things yourself. Buy the hardware, maintain the power supply, internet connection, cooling, bandwidth, physical security, software installations etc.

Managed WordPress Hosting

The service provider will keep your WordPress installation up-to-date with all security from hackers. This is because of increasing demand for WordPress as a site building software.
